After losing the first ODI, the hosts will be aiming to bounce back in the second ODI and try to level the three-match ODI series 1-1. However, the momentum is with the visitors, who would be eager to go for the kill in the second ODI and seal the series.

Opportunities to win an ODI series Down Under do not come often, as Australia prides itself on winning series at home. With South Africa having a golden chance, they would be keen to maintain winning momentum.
