Australia will battle it out with South Africa in the second ODI on Friday, August 22. After losing the first ODI, the hosts will be aiming to bounce back in the second ODI and try to level the three-match ODI series 1-1. However, the momentum is with the visitors, who would be eager to go for the kill in the second ODI and seal the series.
Opportunities to win an ODI series Down Under do not come often, as Australia prides itself on winning series at home. With South Africa having a golden chance, they would be keen to maintain winning momentum. Under head coach Shukri Conrad, the Proteas are playing with a free-spirited attitude & with positive intent. The coach has given license to all the players to express themselves and not shy away from playing their natural game. As a result, the team has unlocked quite a few exciting players who play fearlessly.

In the first ODI, Matthew Breetzke showed his immense talent and skill by taking on Aussie bowlers. Dewald Brevis has already shown what he is capable of in the T20 series. Australia, for the first time in the white-ball series, is under the pump. Their batting has looked patchy, with no  batter taking onus to complete games. Travis Head and Josh Ingli's lack of runs is hurting the hosts the most.
